What are shortfills?

How to use shortfills?

If you know exactly how do shortfills work and what they are, as a self-respecting vaper, you should also learn how to use them the right way. It’s actually a straightforward process.

1. Pick Your Nicotine Shot. Nicotine shots are typically sold in 10ml bottles. It is a flavourless e-liquid with a high concentration of nicotine. Often, it reaches 18 milligrams per millilitre. PRO TIP: pick a nic shot that complements your base e-liquid’s VG/PG ratio to avoid messing up the consistency of the liquid.
2. Calculate How Much Nicotine You Want to Add. Every vaper needs to understand how much nicotine is required in order to achieve the desired strength of the final liquid. For example, a single 10ml 18mg/ml nic shot to a 50ml shortfill will get you a solid 60ml of e-liquid with a reasonably mild 3mg/ml final nicotine concentration. Even if you want more punch, adding extra nicotine isn’t always the answer as too much of it will just dilute the flavour. Be cautious.
